our story

Reny and Brody met in 2016 and began their story as friends in Park City, UT. From the very beginning, Brody knew he loved being around Reny, and before long, friendship turned into something more. In 2018, they started dating, and Brody quickly became the person who made Reny feel truly seen, loved, and at home.

From high school sweethearts to navigating a long distance relationship, they learned early on that love shows up in everyday efforts. Brody traveled as often as he could, supporting Reny as she followed her dreams. During that time, Reny and Brody would daydream about the moments they would one day share, grocery shopping, making meals together, and creating a home.

March 2020 brought Reny to Austin and marked her official move to Texas. Since then, they’ve built a quiet and beautiful life together, complete with their two dogs, Lucky and Teddy. They’ve moved around South Austin more than once, shared countless small moments, and said yes to big adventures along the way.

Brody proposed to Reny on March 29, 2025, just before their seven year anniversary, completely surprising her during a Hill Country getaway in Fredericksburg. Now, they’re counting down the days until they get to say “I do” and begin the next chapter of their love story, full of laughter, love, and all the everyday moments they once dreamed about.
